Everybody loved the bloody mary vodka that I made and it’s now going on the menu at work. My first claim to fame.

We had a shipment of twelve 64oz mason jars come into work this week so all of my wish list items will be made soon. I can’t wait for fall and be able to work with pumpkins.

Bloody Mark Vodka

Getting into the summer season I wanted try more of the local brunch places. Who doesn’t love french toast at two in the afternoon? Everywhere I went they would serve these bloody mary’s just drenched in mix. I thought there had to be another way to recover from your Saturday’s hangover then with a meal of mostly bloody mary mixture.

This mangled concoction is our homemade infusion bloody mary vodka marinating in jalapeños, tomatoes, onions, lemons, limes, garlic, cilantro, and black peppercorn. The idea is you should be able to drink this straight with no mixer for a perfect bloody Mary.

I used this container because I liked the pour spout option. Usually the mason jar type is preferred. A better camera will be coming soon, for now your stuck with Iphone photos.

Two bottles of vodka.

Four tomatoes cut into quarters

Four jalapenos sliced length wise and de-seeded

Quarter of an onion sliced into circle cuts

Five cloves of garlic peeled and diced

Two lemons and limes

Whole black peppercorn kernels

Cilantro to taste

I walked into work today and this was bottled and waiting for me. HOLY FUCK WAS IT AMAZING. Just the right spice from the onions, jalapenos and garlic.

I started a new tumblr detailing all of the cocktail infusions I’m doing at work. Check them out and I’ll try and get a new one up every week to begin with. The goal is to get ten going at one time from vodka and cordials to homemade ginger beer. A better camera will be coming soon as well, Iphone photos for now.
